Statement from the directors:
 
It gives me great pleasure to announce that Tibard has hit another major milestone in it’s history.  Tibard Limited is 30 years old. In today’s climate, with the high’s and low’s of business, no more apparent in the hospitality market place, we have not only increased our customer base, but maintained good levels of monthly turnover and increased profitability. Tibard’s business model is one of ‘Get the job done’.
From the roots of our back bedroom in the family home, to the first unit in Denton, one major contributing factor to the success of the business is the longevity of our staff. People like Jean Self, the backbone of our sales team has logged 21 years service, Kevin our cutter, 20 years, Pam, Marie, Champa, Daksha, Jane, Steve B, the list goes on.
 
However the greatest praise goes to the founders of Tibard, John and Sue Shonfeld who have nurtured Tibard into a multi-million pound business.
 
A review of our production from our inauguration boasts the following figures:
 
  • Chefs Jackets – 1.7 million
  • Chefs Trousers – 1.3 million
  • Aprons – 2.5 million
  • Hats – 0.7 million
  • Fabric – 6.5 million metres
  • Embroidery Stitches – 4.5 billion

Tibard are eagerly awaiting the 1st print run of the new and exciting wear for work brochure.

Included in our new brochure will be some new and innovative products.

  • CJ3088 - taking advantage of heat moisture fabrics and mesh fabrics, this jacket combines the two. A mesh back panel is concealed within an outer back panel.
  • CJ3064 - once again using heat moisture fabrics, this executive style jacket incorparates all the style features you would expect from a high end chefs jacket
  • AP0514 - A Poly/Cotton bib apron which includes a contrast side panel
  • APP0512 - A "V" neck bib apron with front pocket and all in one waistband ties
  • APP0515 - Curved front split bib apron with front pocket
  • APP0516 - An all in one waistcoat and bib apron
