This year, we’re proud to support Wear It Pink Day in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness! On Friday 24th October, our staff at Tibard have taken the initiative to go all out in pink to contribute— from bold outfits to illuminous accessories; we are switching the everyday uniform to something brighter— with a special prize for the pinkest outfit. 

We also have delicious sweet treats available, such as cakes and cookies. In addition, there will be breast cancer ribbon badges for sale, a tombola and a fun “Guess How Many Pink Sweets in the Jar” game. With our staff trying their luck in a raffle, with prizes donated including a cuddly bunny embroidered with a name of your choice, Irish whiskey, Baylis & Harding advent calendar, a bottle of bubbly and heroes chocolates. Every donation and every bit of pink help raise vital funds and awareness for a cause close to so many hearts. 

We understand the importance of supporting crucial causes where we can and how even the smallest things can make a big difference. With a goal for everyone with breast cancer to live by 2050 by Breast Cancer Now, Tibard firmly believes in getting involved and spreading the word to help achieve this aim for the future.  

Not only are we doing this, we recently designed and created 400 bespoke pamper bags for Macmillan Cancer patients as part of our machinist's day of volunteering. Read more in  this blog.
